Thank you for visiting the Washington Elementary website. Washington Elementary (WE) is a wonderful place filled with amazing staff and students supported greatly by parents and the entire community. Mrs. Stanton feels very fortunate to be completing her eighth year as the principal at Washington Elementary. She says it has felt like home since the day she started. Mrs. Stanton and her family: husband Lucas, 3-year old-son Noah, and baby on the way in May, love being a part of the WE family.
In her eight years at Washington, so many great things have been accomplished to support students academically as well as socially and emotionally. Mrs. Stanton is very proud of the staff at Washington especially this last year in the midst of COVID-19. Faced with teaching in a way they never expected and being asked to do things they were never fully trained in, they jumped in and as always, did what was best for kids! Mrs. Stanton feel so lucky to get to work beside a wonderful group of people every day.
